Job summary

Mercy Riverport is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our team, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective, patient-centered medication therapy.

You will serve as a drug information resource, contribute to clinical initiatives, educate staff and students, and participate in quality improvement while upholding Mercy's mission and standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school (required).
• Current pharmacist license in the applicable state (required).
• Two or more years of clinical pharmacy experience; PGY-1 residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review medication therapy to ensure appropriate plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff on dosing and therapy.
• Educate team and patients on drug information and therapy.
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
