Job summary

Cencora in Reading, PA seeks a Pharmacy Navigator technician to triage patients and prescriptions, facilitating authorization, reimbursement and dispensing of medications. This compliance-critical role works with Cardiology and multi-specialty clinics at Tower Health, with cross-coverage to other locations as needed.

Hybrid work: four days on site and up to one day remote after training. Hours: Monday–Friday, 7am–6pm.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of related pharmacy experience; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must hold Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license.
• CPHT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with dispensing specialty medications.
• Process prescription orders accurately and verify patient information and insurance.
• Coordinate prescription delivery and tracking.
• Manage inventory and supplier orders.
• Provide patient support and triage to pharmacists.
• Monitor patient adherence with follow-up calls and documentation.
• Review insurance and assist with financial assistance options.
• Communicate professionally with patients and providers.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth workflow.
• Stay updated with latest developments in practice area.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
