Our drivers are more than operators behind the wheel—they are the face of the organization, the first point of contact for customers in moments of stress, and the standard‑bearers of our professionalism and values.

The Specialized Transport / Dedicated Driver will deliver and pick up light rental equipment around DFW and surrounding communities Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday. Our dedicated drivers go on duty at the customer’s yard and are dispatched by them daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks and specialized trailers to transport our customers’ equipment safely.
• Load, secure, and unload machinery, industrial components, and other specialized cargo using chains, binders, straps, and blocking.
• Conduct thorough pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections of truck, trailer, and securement equipment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, escort vehicles, customers, and job‑site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, state, and local regulations, including weight limits, height/width restrictions, and securement standards.
• Maintain accurate logs, paperwork, permits, and load documentation.
• Identify and report mechanical issues; perform minor troubleshooting when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and uphold company safety policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in heavy haul, specialized transport, or lowboy operations.
• Proficiency with advanced load securement techniques and rigging equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret permits, route plans, and height/width restrictions.
• Strong understanding of weight distribution, axle configurations, and trailer types.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background checks.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, pull, push, and carry 75–100 lbs regularly (chains, binders, blocking, ramps).
• Climb onto trailers, equipment, and loads up to 6–8 feet high.
• Perform repetitive bending, kneeling, climbing, and crouching during securement tasks.
• Stand, walk, and work on uneven terrain for extended periods.
