Job summary

The Supreme Court - Agency 5 in Bellevue, NE is hiring a Specialized Populations Officer to manage probation caseloads for high-risk adults and juveniles within the Problem-Solving Court program. You will oversee assessments, develop case plans, coordinate with treatment providers and perform regular field visits.

Core duties include counseling, reporting, conducting cognitive groups, and monitoring compliance while maintaining public safety.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in social services, Criminal Justice or related field and 2 years of case management experience.
• Knowledge of criminal justice system, interview and assessment practices, and crisis intervention.
• Experience with reporting, documentation and working with treatment providers.

Responsibilities

• Investigates, monitors and supervises high-risk individuals on probation or post-release supervision.
• Performs counseling, case management, and case reporting under supervision.
• Develops team supervision with referral sources and treatment providers.
• Participates in treatment processes and relapse prevention planning.
• Facilitates groups and provides life skills and cognitive programming.
• Prepares violation reports, updates client information in systems and submits court reports.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
