  • Ability to modify curriculum and instructional materials based on student needs.
  • Ability to support academic, behavioral, social, and functional development.

Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher – Learning Disabilities to provide specialized instruction and support to students with learning disabilities. The teacher will develop and deliver individualized instruction designed to support students' academic, developmental, behavioral, social, and functional needs.

This is a long-term contract position with the potential to continue year after year, providing stability and continued work within a school environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized instruction to students identified with Learning Disabilities (SM)
  • Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies based on student needs
  • Follow and implement student IEPs and individualized educational goals
  • Adapt curriculum, assignments, and instructional materials to support individual learning needs

  • Create a structured, safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
