Mosaic in Newton, IA invites you to become a Home Provider, opening your home to an individual with an intellectual disability to live as part of your family. You will support daily living, healthcare coordination, transportation, and community engagement, in a role that emphasizes belonging and growth.

The program provides initial and ongoing training, dedicated team support, and licensing guidance. Average annual income is about $80,000 tax-free, plus monthly rent and household expense

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be a current resident of Iowa (state funding restriction).
• Own/rent home in Iowa, fully wheelchair accessible.
• Have homeowner's or renter's insurance.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current vehicle insurance.
• Internet access and basic computer skills.
• Able to complete required screenings, background checks, and training.

Responsabilités

• Support daily living skills such as cooking, budgeting, cleaning, and decision-making.
• Assist with medication administration and medical appointments.
• Help someone build connections, participate in their community, and feel a sense of belonging.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• You must be a current resident of the state of Iowa (due to state funding restrictions).
