Job summary

At Mosaic, a Home Provider opens their home to an individual with intellectual disabilities, helping them live, belong, and grow within a supportive family-like setting. You’ll participate in daily living activities, coordinate with the Mosaic team, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Applicants should be 18+, Iowa resident, own or rent a home, and be prepared for screenings. Training and ongoing support are provided to help you thrive in this meaningful role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Resident of Iowa.
• Own or rent your home (house, apartment, condo, or townhouse).
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current vehicle insurance.
• Ability to complete required screenings and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living skills such as cooking, budgeting, cleaning, and decision-making.
• Assist with medication administration and medical appointments.
• Help someone build connections, participate in their community, and experience belonging.
• Provide transportation and support with daily activities as needed.
• Maintain documentation and communication with the Mosaic support team.
• Help someone build confidence, independence, and pursue personal goals.

Position Snapshot

• Location: Le Mars , IA (Must own or rent your current home) We are currently seeking a female home provider
• Supporting: You are welcoming an individual with an intellectual disability to move into your home and live with you full-time as a part of your household and family dynamic
• Average Annual Income: Approximately $80,000 (federally tax-free) + Monthly Rent & Household Expenses Contribution

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• You must be a current resident of the state of Iowa (due to state funding restrictions).
• Own/Rent your own home, apartment, condo, or townhouse
• Active homeowner's or renter's insurance
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current vehicle insurance
• Internet access and basic computer skills
• Ability to complete required screenings, background checks, and training

Experience is preferred but not required.
