Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for our outpatient Cardiology clinic in Billings, MT. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in coordination with physicians and the health team to meet ambulatory care needs.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of clinic or acute care experience; cardiology experience is preferred. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid RN license from the state licensing board is required.
• BLS or ACLS certification is required.
• One year related clinic or acute hospital nursing experience is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care following established standards and procedures.
• Obtain patient consent and protect confidentiality.
• Document health history, vital signs, and risk factors; assess disease condition.
• Provide care based on guidelines and legal regulations; monitor progress.
• Administer medications and coordinate with physicians and other providers.
• Educate patients and families about health status, maintenance, and conditions.
• Document assessments and interventions in medical records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes and outcomes.
• Track quality assurance data for acute and chronic care management.
