Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, MT is seeking a Registered Nurse in an outpatient Cardiology clinic to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. The RN will coordinate with physicians and the health care team, follow standing orders, perform procedures, administer medications, and document care.

Preferred candidates have BSN, BLS/ACLS, and at least one year of clinic or acute care nursing experience. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required
• One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Obtains and documents health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors and assesses disease condition.
• Provides patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
• Executes prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administers prescribed medications, and monitor and document treatment progress and patient response.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
