Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, MT seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for our outpatient Cardiology clinic. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with physicians and the health team, following established protocols and standards.

The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications, with at least one year of clinic or acute care experience. Schedule is full-time, Monday-Thursday 8-5 and Friday 8-2, 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current/valid RN license in the state.
• BLS or ACLS certification required.
• At least 1 year clinic or acute care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care to patients following established standards.
• Obtain patient consent and document health history, vitals, and risk factors.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor treatment response.
• Educate patients and families about health status and management of conditions.
• Document data using medical records systems and collaborate with the care team.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes and outcomes.
• Track quality assurance data for care management.
