Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, MT is seeking a Registered Nurse in an outpatient cardiology clinic. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within established protocols and coordinates with the care team to support ambulatory needs.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of clinic or acute care nursing experience. A BSN is preferred; full-time hours and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS or ACLS certification required.
• 1 year related clinic or acute hospital nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care per established standards and procedures.
• Obtain patient consent and ensure confidentiality.
• Obtain and document health history, vital signs, and risk factors; assess disease condition.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response; consult with physicians as needed.
• Educate patients and families about health status and care management.
• Document assessments and interventions in medical records; use EMR systems.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes and outcomes.
• Track quality assurance data for acute and chronic care management.
