Job summary

Allegion is seeking a Specialized Assembly Operator to support the Assembly Department with equipment performance and quality of parts through the Specialized Assembly line. You will handle manual operation and autonomous maintenance of equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires at least one year of related experience, ability to read and interpret various documents, and proficiency in basic math and data entry.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow multiple documents (safety rules, schedules, method sheets).
• Basic math and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble housings and cylinders.
• Perform fill, test, regulate functions on closers.
• Adjust mechanisms to ensure proper operation.
• Build sub-assemblies for stations and components.
• Perform quality checks on parts and products.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain 5S in workspace.
• May perform other duties and overtime as needed.
