Broward College in Florida seeks a part-time tester to assist in operating the campus testing and assessment center. Responsibilities include administering and proctoring the College Placement Test and other exams, handling front desk duties, and advising students on placement options.
This role supports the E-Assessment & Learning team, requires at least a high school diploma, and one year of testing experience; proficiency with Word, Excel, and the Internet is expected.
The purpose of this job is to assist in the operation of the campus testing and assessment center. Employees in this job classification are responsible for administering and proctoring the College Placement Test and other various exams; conducting all front desk operations; providing general advisement to students on the selection of the appropriate placement or proficiency exam; and performing a variety of staff support duties. Duties will take place in the center and other locations on campus.
This position allows eligible veterans and their spouses to claim Veterans’ Preference pursuant to Florida Statute 295. High school diploma or GED
One year experience administering computerized and manual tests. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and the Internet.
