Broward College is seeking a part-time testing center assistant to support the campus testing and assessment center. You will administer and proctor the College Placement Test and other exams, handle front desk duties, and provide guidance to students on exam choices.

Job Description Summary The purpose of this job is to assist in the operation of the campus testing and assessment center. Employees in this job classification are responsible for administering and proctoring the College Placement Test and other various exams; conducting all front desk operations; providing general advisement to students on the selection of the appropriate placement or proficiency exam; and performing a variety of staff support duties.
Duties will take place in the center and other locations on campus. This position allows eligible veterans and their spouses to claim Veterans’ Preference pursuant to Florida Statute 295. Certain service members may be eligible to receive waivers for post secondary educational requirements, in employment by the state and its political subdivisions and are encouraged to apply for the positions being filled. Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED
Minimum Experience/Training: One year experience administering computerized and manual tests. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and the Internet.
