Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist Systems Engineer in Salt Lake City to join a dynamic networking team. The role focuses on lifecycle system engineering tasks including requirements management, design support, testing, installation, and 24/7 support for protected SATCOM data links.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience, must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance, and have experience with Cisco routers/switches, DOORS, and Visio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience; Graduate Degree with at least 2 years of related experience; in lieu of a degree, 8 years of related experience.
• Experience with network device configuration and troubleshooting (Cisco IOS/IOS-XE) desired.
• Knowledge of SATCOM data links and ground RF/ modem interfaces preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lifecycle tasks: requirements management, design support, reviews, test development, installation, testing, and on-call support.
• Support for protected SATCOM data link systems from concept to product phase-out.
• Travel 4–5 times per year, domestic and overseas.
