Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain end-to-end customer enterprise applications on AWS, using EC2, EFS and IAM, with Java, Spring and RESTful APIs. You will modernize legacy systems with Angular and containerized deployments on Kubernetes, and build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub, Concourse and Harness.

You will apply DevSecOps practices, manage secrets securely, and implement enterprise monitoring with Splunk and efficient SQL queries.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 2 years of related experience.
• Experience developing end-to-end enterprise applications on AWS.
• Proficiency with Java, Spring, Angular, Kubernetes and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

Job Description Summary

Software Engineer needed to develop and maintain end-to-end customer enterprise applications on AWS cloud platform utilizing EC2, EFS, and IAM. Create microservices based custom enterprise applications, utilizing Java, Spring Frameworks and Restful API's, and integrating with adapters supporting SWIFT messaging. Modernize legacy enterprise applications utilizing Angular Frameworks and Iframe based integration architecture. Design and maintain cloud native applications using Kubernetes orchestration, containerized deployment architecture and automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Github, Concourse and Harness for automated deployment. Use DevSecOps practices, tools and techniques to onboard to Contrast, SonarQube, Twistlock and perform secure secrets management practices. Implement enterprise monitoring solutions utilizing Splunk and optimized SQL queries to identify, analyze, and resolve operational data discrepancies.Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 2 years of experience performing the duties listed above.
