Job summary

Job Description

Software Engineer needed to develop and maintain end-to-end customer enterprise applications on AWS cloud platform utilizing EC2, EFS, and IAM. Create microservices based custom enterprise applications, utilizing Java, Spring Frameworks and Restful API's, and integrating with adapters supporting SWIFT messaging. Modernize legacy enterprise applications utilizing Angular Frameworks and Iframe based integration architecture. Design and maintain cloud native applications using Kubernetes orchestration, containerized deployment architecture and automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Github, Concourse and Harness for automated deployment. Use DevSecOps practices, tools and techniques to onboard to Contrast, SonarQube, Twistlock and perform secure secrets management practices. Implement enterprise monitoring solutions utilizing Splunk and optimized SQL queries to identify, analyze, and resolve operational data discrepancies. Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 2 years of experience performing the duties listed above.

Nationwide pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement within the actual starting salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment.
