About the Role

As a Recovery Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence and strategic direction of Meridian. You will:

  • Assist the treatment team in providing direct client care.
  • Aid in ensuring an orderly, safe and therapeutic environment by maintaining a therapeutic relationship with person served and treat person served with dignity and respect at all times.
  • Monitor person served to help maintain a safe, clean environment and set standards for milieu monitoring through the performance of these tasks.
  • Observe, report and document client interaction among peers, staff and the community as it relates to clients' individual recovery goals.
What We're Looking For

We are looking for:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred and 2 years' experience in a human service field required.
  • College education in human service field may be substituted for experience.
  • Personal recovery of at least 2 years may be substituted for work experience.
  • Preference is given to candidates with work experience in substance abuse. Current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements required.
