Job summary

Hyundai Mobis is seeking a Production Data & Improvement specialist to support daily manufacturing operations in Georgia. You will assist management with takt time and throughput, generate countermeasures, and maintain dashboards across shifts.

The role requires strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, solid communication, and the ability to analyze trends and drive improvements in a production environment. Office-based with potential overtime based on needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) preferred.
  • PC-literate with Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support Production management to drive tactics and improvements across shifts.
  • Generate countermeasure documentation and ensure consistent implementation.
  • Maintain production information boards and track key metrics.
  • Collect data and perform trend analyses (Pareto, bar charts, trends).
  • Create production analysis reports for UPH, Quality issues, Downtime, and Rework.
  • Pull MES system data and provide training on company data to staff.
  • Assist in general Production Improvement initiatives.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Overview

Works directly with Production management to provide support of the Production process and activities including but not limited to manpowerreduction and addition, participation rate, etc. Accomplish day-to-day tacticalobjectivesin support of company and department goals.Demonstrates adherence to company policies and procedures in support of safety, quality, delivery,cost,and morale (SQDCM) initiatives. Embraces and promotes company core values toestablishandmaintaina culture committed to ethical practices, legal compliance, and a union-free environment. Takes initiative toparticipatein training and developing opportunities to prepare for current and future challenges.

Responsibilities

To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Constantlyseekimprovements and create a climate where others are encouraged to do the same
  • Generate formal countermeasure documentation and ensure proper implementationconsistentlyacross all shifts
  • Ensure work standards are developed and available at all applicable locations
  • Ensure work standards meet current requirements and are adjusted as needed
  • MaintainProduction information boards to date with applicable information
  • Gather data and conduct trend analysis, including charts and graphs (Pareto charts, bar graphs, trends, etc.) for posting communication
  • Ensure EO changes are properly implemented
  • Maintain all Controlled Documentation for Production Department
  • Participateas a part of the Production Improvement Teams
  • Collect,track,and implement improvements for Production UPH on all lines
  • Collect,analyze,and report rework issues for all lines
  • Create production analysis reports for UPH,QualityIssues,MajorDowntimeIssues,MajorRework, andQualityCountermeasures
  • Track andpurchasebasic supplies and tools needed forProduction
  • Provide trainingoncompany data
  • Pulling MES System data
  • Other tasks as assigned
