Base pay range

$27.00/hr - $30.00/hr

The Logistics & Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for coordinating logistics activities at the Rancho Cucamonga, CA warehouse and managing indirect purchases for Carlsbad and Rancho locations. The role aims to improve efficiency and follow-through across all logistics and indirect purchasing functions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Issue work orders in the Canyon MRP system during the FT transition period.
• Participate in coordination meetings with FT, QC, and Purchasing managers.
• Create U20s and work orders for incoming goods.
• Support physical inventory processes.
• Create purchase orders for gear, service/warranty parts, and indirect purchases.
• Collaborate on Model Year Service, Warranty, and Gear Portfolio planning.
• Convert demand forecasts into buy plans and purchase orders with appropriate lead times.
• Monitor trends and collaborate with teams to anticipate future demands.
• Manage purchase order reconciliation, maintenance, and ASN processes.
• Communicate product availability and report KPIs to management.
• Build relationships with OEM regional offices for quicker solutions.
• Document best practices and standard operating procedures.
• Perform additional operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent, preferably in supply chain or business management.
• Minimum 3 years in supply planning, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365, especially Excel and PowerPoint; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Experience with Confluence, JIRA, and SharePoint is advantageous.

Physical and Other Requirements

The role involves sitting for extended periods, using hands for computer work, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
