Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Specialist for Inflight Training Operations and Delivery to oversee daily training delivery at the Training & Conf Ctr (DFW-SV05). You will guide flight attendants through continuing qualification, aircraft line training, and requalification activities, coordinating with the scheduling team and leadership.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with strong problem solving, leadership, and conflict resolution skills to drive reliable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience.
• Knowledge of RES, DECS, and LMS.
• Current Flight Attendant qualifications are a plus.
• Prior instructor experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the daily operational delivery of InflightTraining.
• Frontline contact for FAs attending training programs.
• Conducts daily shift briefings with the team.
• Manages daily staffing and coordination with Training Scheduling.
• Handles operational disruptions around training.
• Maintains the Instructor Evaluator Handbook and training devices.

• This job is a member of the Inflight Training team.
• Responsible for overseeing the daily InflightTraining Operation at both FSU and the Flight Academy which includes training programs for Flight Attendants for Continuing Qualification training, aircraft line training as well and Leave of Absence Requalification training. Also responsible for daily instructor team briefings and managing the many facets of our training operations.

• Works closely with all team members in a positive and professional manner
• Ability to work some weekends and evenings throughout the month

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Knowledge of RES, DECS, and LMS
• Current Flight Attendant qualifications
• Prior instructor experience
• Knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of the InflightTraining Delivery Team
• Knowledge of flight attendant legalities and contractual obligations for scheduling removals, adjustments and unexpected operational situations
