Southwire Company, LLC is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to support compliance and risk reduction across manufacturing areas. Responsibilities include hazard identification, investigations, training, and program deployment in alignment with company policies.
Minimum 2–4 years in industrial health, safety, and environmental activities plus a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science. Preferred certifications include GSP/ASP with 5–7 years in manufacturing.

Applies working knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, company standards, and safe work practices to support compliance and risk reduction across assigned manufacturing and operational areas. Conducts routine safety and environmental inspections, job hazard analyses, and observations to identify hazards, environmental risks, and compliance gaps, and recommends corrective actions. Supports incident, nearamiss, and environmental event investigations by gathering facts, documenting findings, and assisting with root cause analysis and corrective action tracking. Analyzes safety, environmental, and audit data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Coordinates and delivers health, safety, environmental, and emergency preparedness training and audits in alignment with established programs and procedures. Implements sitealevel EHS initiatives and supports contractor safety and environmental requirements, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory expectations. Communicates hazards, environmental impacts, findings, and updates to supervisors and employees, reinforcing safe and environmentally responsible behaviors and a culture of accountability, prevention, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Specialized Degree: Engineering or Science discipline or other program applicable to the health, safety and environmental fields are required.
Years of Experience: 2-4 years
Field of Expertise: Requires minimum of 2 years of experience working in industrial health, safety, and environmental activities.
