Southwire Company, LLC is hiring an EHS leader to manage the environmental health and safety function across our Dallas Fort Worth Distribution Center. You will guide a professional team, ensure regulatory compliance, and align safety programs with business goals to foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or related safety discipline, 5–7 years in manufacturing/distribution, and certifications such as OSHA 10/30, ASP, CSP, or SMS.

Location: Dallas Fort Worth Distribution Center
Manages the environmental health and safety (EHS) function across assigned operations, providing leadership to professional team members and/or supervisors. Is accountable for the performance and results of the EHS team, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address operational challenges and evolving regulatory standards. Provides technical guidance and expertise to leadership, employees, and customers while developing and implementing programs that foster a culture of safety, compliance, and environmental stewardship. Operates with guidance from the director and collaborates cross-functionally to integrate EHS practices into business operations.
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Specialized Degree: engineering, industrial safety, or related science with experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment
Licenses/Certificates: OSHA 10-hour, OSHA 30-hour, ASP, CSP, SMS
Years of Experience: 5-7 Years
Field of Expertise: manufacturing/distribution, occupational safety experience in general industry, and 5-year experience of environmental efforts with waste management, EPCRA, storm water, spill prevention, air, and waste
Specialized Degree: engineering, industrial safety, occupational health and safety, public safety, engineering, or even science disciplines like chemistry or biology
Licenses/Certificates: Professional certification in safety desired.
