The Role

The HR Specialist supports HRIS, compliance, benefits administration, talent acquisition, and FMLA administration for properties in Nevada, Colorado, and Missouri.

Responsibilities
  1. Develops and conducts processes to ensure all HR/HRIS processes are accurate and comply with policies, regulations, and SOX narratives.
  2. Serves as the property SME on HRIS, benefits, FMLA, and compliance. Ensures data integrity and proper coding for system accuracy.
  3. Maintains HRIS and modifies programs to gather and report data as needed.
  4. Administers LOAs, including personal, medical, and FMLA leaves, following policies and legal guidelines. Maintains LOA files and documentation.
  5. Oversees benefits programs administration and assists with annual open enrollment planning.
  6. Acts as the company contact for 401k, benefit enrollments, and team member communications.
  7. Supports customer service standards and addresses issues proactively.
  8. Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and reports issues to management.
  9. Maintains confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least one HR-related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software.
  • Knowledge of UKG products is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and attention to quality results.

Target Salary Range: Minimum $24.00/hour.
