What You'll Do:
- Prepare technical specifications and evaluate supplier bids, including technical clarifications, negotiations, risk assessments, and commercial selection support.
- Support mechanical systems including air intake systems, air-cooled heat exchangers, noise enclosures, and fire protection systems.
- Review internal and external designs and technical documentation to ensure alignment with requirements, customer needs, and engineering interfaces.
- Provide technical support to procurement, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and warranty activities, including troubleshooting and site support.
- Coordinate with lead engineers, customers, suppliers, procurement, engineering teams, and project management, while supporting proposal and bid activities.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical systems engineering, including preparation of technical specifications, design reviews, and engineering documentation.
What Sets You Apart:
- Detailed knowledge of auxiliary mechanical systems of a gas turbine, such as air intake, acoustic enclosure, ventilation, fire protection.
- Capability to handle cross-functional and cross-product line initiatives, domestically and internationally.
- Ability to work as part of a larger global engineering team in a collaborative manner.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form and to interface within a wide range of organizations both internally and externally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
