Assembler Position

Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Tempe, AZ. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:
  • The Exhaust Processor's primary function is to operate and oversee tube process stations and associated vacuum and electronic equipment to manufacture intensifier tube components.
  • The Exhaust Processor uses hand tools to remove numerous stainless-steel bolts to access and remove finished products from the vacuum and electronic equipment.
  • The Exhaust Processor will unload and reload the systems without damaging the fragile tubes or the equipment.
  • This position will perform various routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
  • This position has considerable physical demands.
  • The incumbent will adhere to procedures and work instructions to perform the exhaust process on components to achieve quality and yield goals set by the Exhaust department.
  • Produce a quality product that meets the customer specifications and maintains sufficient inventory to satisfy our internal and external customers.
  • Interprets data from Analytical/ Diagnostics equipment to make sound decisions based on relevant facts.
  • Utilise various hand tools and follow written process procedures for intensifier image tube processing.
  • Monitor data from various meters and sensing devices that measure vacuum, temperature, and torque.
  • Maintain accurate record entry using the onsite Quality Tracking System (QTS).
  • Define complex equipment issues and quality levels while informing engineering of any process or component that deviates from normal processing.
  • Adhere to the best vacuum and clean room practices.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Pay: $19.50 / hr.

Hours: 9/80 hrs/Week. (1st shift).

Length: Contract (12 months).

  • Experience in handling small products/microchips.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical measuring equipment and quality control terminology (preferred).
  • Related manufacturing work experience (including soldering and high-volume production).
  • Soldering certification.
  • Able to multitask.
  • Ability to become familiar with Six Sigma problem-solving tools, 5S and Lean methodologies.

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Good hand/eye coordination - manual dexterity is needed as we will be working with glass products.
