Job summary

Worldpay Technology Bucharest S.R.L is seeking a DevOps Engineer Specialist to join the NAP DevOps team and advance CI/CD pipelines from on‑prem to AWS, focusing on reliability, observability and security.

You will own deployment frameworks, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive automation using Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes, with strong scripting in Python and Bash.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Jenkins CI/CD and the utilisation of shared libraries to build pipelines as code.
• Hands-on with Linux/Windows and common deployment tools, plus scripting (Python, Bash).
• Experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and deployment frameworks.
• Transition DevOps tooling and NAP components from on‑premises to AWS cloud.
• Provide on‑call support for DevOps tooling during releases outside working hours.
• Collaborate with value streams to identify cloud-based optimizations.

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer Specialist to join our ever-evolving NAP DevOps team and help shape the future of global commerce.What you’ll ownThe New Acquiring Platform (NAP) DevOps team has the main goal of enabling a reliable, repeatable, traceable and fast route of our numerous assets to production. We empower development teams and promote DevOps practices across the NAP programme and collaborate with teams from across the organisation to help achieve our shared goals.You will be responsible for implementing and expanding DevOps practices to increase flow, feedback, evolution, and maintenance of CI/CD solutions - which includes ownership, improvement, design, development and maintenance of all supporting DevOps toolsets, including CI/CD pipelines and the NAP deployment framework.You’ll be involved in the ongoing transition of the DevOps tools and NAP components from on-premise to cloud (AWS), with a focus on compute, networking, storage, observability, reliability and security.You will be responsible for building, implementing and maintaining repeatable deployment processes for all environments and tooling on premise and within AWS.You will be working closely with other value streams to identify areas of improvement, where cloud technology can be used to solve complex problems.You’ll be occasionally required to provide on-call support for DevOps tooling during releases that take place outside working hours.What you’ll bringExtensive experience with Jenkins CI/CD and the utilisation of shared libraries to build pipelines as codeExtensive hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems and industry standard deployment and provisioning tools such as Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, as well as solid Python and Bash scripting skillsGood experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and ideally with some or all of the following services: VPC, EC2, ELB, Auto-Scaling (including Groups), S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Route53, Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudFormation, SQS, MSK, DynamoDB, IAMGood experience in developing, testing and deploying AWS Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using TerraformStrong understanding around CI/CD practices, principles and fundamentalsGood experience with GitHub ActionsGood experience with No SQL databases like MongoDB and CassandraAn everything-as-code mindsetHarness experience a definite plusAbout the teamOur inclusive and global teams win together every day.
