Job summary

Worldpay is seeking a Senior DevOps Cloud/ IaC Engineer to join the global DevOps Cloud & Automation team. You will design and operate scalable platforms, enable development teams, and contribute to AI-enabled infrastructure in a fast-paced Agile environment. This hybrid role requires 3 days per week in Cincinnati, OH or Atlanta, GA, or 2 days per week in Denver, CO.

Visa sponsorship is not available. You will work with Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps, and AWS services while driving CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience with 5+ years in DevOps/CI/CD.
• Strong in Terraform, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, Helm.
• Proficient in Python and Groovy.
• Experience with AWS cloud and networking basics.
• Knowledge of microservices, HA/DR, and multi-region architectures.
• Hands-on with Redis, Kafka, Cassandra, ELK.
• Solid Linux/Windows administration skills.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps platforms.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terraform Cloud).
• Implement GitOps (ArgoCD) and Kubernetes deployments (Helm).
• Manage tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, Nexus/Artifactory.
• Operate and optimize AWS infrastructure (EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda).
• Enable self-service platforms for development teams.
• Implement monitoring, security, and cost optimization.
• Support AI/ML integrations and AI Infra-as-a-Service capabilities.

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline plus 5+ years in DevOps / CI/CD / Platform Engineering or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
• Strong in Terraform, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, Helm
• Proficiency in Python, Groovy
• Experience with AWS cloud and networking fundamentals
• Knowledge of microservices, HA/DR, and multi-region architectures
• Hands-on with Redis, Kafka, Cassandra, ELK
• Strong Linux/Windows administration skills
• Basic understanding of AI/ML cloud services
• It’s a bonus if you have Multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Compensation and benefits

Worldpay is dedicated to offering individuals rewarding career opportunities and competitive compensation. For this full-time position, the good faith estimated annual salary range upon hire is $108,200.00-$163,400.00. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on the role’s responsibilities, level, and geographic location. The actual starting salary will be determined by a candidate’s experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Please note that changes in work location may impact the final offered salary. We encourage you to consult with your recruiter to confirm the budget for your location and to better understand the applicable pay scale.
