Bigham Cable Construction in the United States is seeking a Data Entry professional to join our fast-paced team. This high-volume role requires speed and meticulous attention to detail as you enter subcontractor and vendor data to support our accounting workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years accounting experience and/or training.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Experience with accounting software is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive and effective customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Code work from subcontractors and in-house staff into accounting software with accurate job costing.
• Verify amounts entered against subcontractor invoices prior to payment.
• Ensure proper approvals are obtained before payment.
• Telephone interaction with vendors to resolve invoice/statement disputes.
• Prepare analysis of accounts as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Code work performed by subcontractors and in-house employees into accounting software, including accurate job costing details

What You’ll Need

• 0-1 years practical accounting experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and others as needed
