Job summary

Prince Telecom LLC in Collinsville, AL is seeking a Billing Specialist to oversee invoicing, review weekly billing, and ensure accuracy across departments. You will interface with customers to resolve discrepancies and maintain complete supporting documentation.

This full-time role offers a non-negotiable $15.00 per hour. Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets, plus Solomon and RTasq experience, and strong attention to detail are essential to meet deadlines and deliver precise financial

Qualifications

• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Data entry skills with high accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Prior Solomon experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review technician weekly billing in RTasq for accuracy and corrections.
• Process invoicing for subcontractors.
• Maintain knowledge of customer billing codes and requirements.
• Reconcile billing against customer invoices and create invoices.
• Communicate with customers on invoicing issues and remediation.
• Process technician and subcontractor pay in Solomon with correct codes.
• Run reports in Solomon to ensure processes flow correctly and identify errors.
• Create, process and archive Solomon invoices.
• Assist interdepartmental invoicing processes and collaborate on financial matters.
• Keep accounts receivable remittance log.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with Accounts Receivable.
• Complete Payroll Adjustment Forms to correct any incorrectly paid technicians.

As a Billing Specialist, you will have a high level of interface with customers in regards to billing and invoicing in addition to collaborating with other departments to ensure process is being followed.

$15.00 per hour (non-negotiable)

Full-time position with set hours that cannot be worked as a side job or with flexible hours.

What You’ll Do

Review technician weekly billing in RTasq for accuracy and make corrections as needed

• Process invoicing for subcontractors
• Maintain knowledge of customer specific billing codes and billing requirements
• Reconcile our billing against customer invoices and/or create invoices for customers
• Communicate with customer on invoicing issues and taking corrective measures
• Process technician and subcontractor pay in Solomon, ensuring correct codes and overtime
• Run reports in Solomon to ensure all processes flowed through accurately and identify any errors
• Create, process and archive Solomon invoices
• Assist with interdepartmental invoicing processes and collaborate with other departments on invoicing and financial matters
• Keep track of accounts receivable and maintain remittance log
• Investigate, identify, and resolve invoice discrepancies in conjunction with Accounts Receivable
• Complete Payroll Adjustment Forms to correct any incorrectly paid technicians
• Complete all processes within the expected deadlines, which are subject to change at times

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have prior experience in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Data entry skills
• Ability to identify and solve problems
• Previous Solomon experience preferred
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to plan, organize, multi-task, prioritize and re-prioritize daily workload and work with minimum supervision and the ability to meet deadlines, establish deadlines
