Role Summary

This role will establish Electrify America’s (EA) Asset Protection Program to prevent, mitigate, and respond to losses such as customer subscription abuse, fraud, vandalism, sabotage, and other losses. The individual will work closely with internal teams to assess vulnerabilities, investigate events, and propose scalable solutions to secure EA’s assets. They will handle loss claims, advocate for restitution, and interface with external parties including law enforcement, security vendors, and government stakeholders to support investigations and initiatives. The role involves analyzing vandalism data, reporting, and influencing incident reduction strategies.

Role Responsibilities
Preventing Losses – 40%
  • Develop Asset Protection programs with stakeholder engagement and initiative prioritization.
  • Create and track KPIs.
  • Conduct physical security assessments across the U.S. and Canada to improve site safety measures.
  • Develop procedures for monitoring and reporting losses.
  • Ensure systems monitor parts shipments, inventory, and truck stock to prevent internal losses.
  • Coordinate with security vendors and investigation firms.
Investigating Losses – 40%
  • Determine if losses are isolated or coordinated, file police reports, and cooperate with law enforcement.
  • Investigate incidents, review camera footage, establish timelines, and collaborate to stop theft rings.
  • Provide reports and updates, and travel for site surveys and law enforcement meetings.
  • Develop security incident response procedures and build relationships with law enforcement for investigations.
Other Duties as Assigned – 20%
  • Develop budgets, analyze loss reports, and interface with government agencies to evolve security regulations.
  • Support other loss prevention activities and operational duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
Skills and Specialized Skills
  • Excellent communication, analysis, influencing, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with CMMS, asset valuation, and law enforcement interfacing.
  • Experience developing police cases is preferred.
Work Flexibility
  • Hybrid role with minimum once-weekly on-site presence.
  • Flexible hours for 24/7 operations and on-call support for emergencies.
  • Up to 25% travel across the U.S. and Canada.
