Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a capable full-stack engineer to design and deploy user-facing Palantir Foundry apps, including forms, interactive UIs, workflows, and operational tools.

You will build and connect front-end and back-end components using TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python, integrating with data pipelines, REST APIs, and ontology objects while collaborating with data teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree with 4+ years related experience or Graduate Degree with 2+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of related experience.
• 2+ years front-end or full-stack development with Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with React-style component patterns or similar front-end frameworks.
• Experience with ontology modeling and object-driven application logic.
• Python for backend automation or processing.
• Knowledge of enterprise data systems (SAP, Oracle EBS, REST APIs).
• Experience with AI tools such as OpenAI, Palantir AIP, Snowflake Cortex.
• Experience designing workflow automations in Foundry.

Responsibilities

• Create ontology-based features like Actions, object relationships, and workflow operations.

• Conduct requirements gathering, UX design, prototyping, and iterative refinement of Foundry apps.
• Implement testing, debugging, release management, and lifecycle support within Foundry.
• Develop application documentation, training materials, and usage guides.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and incorporate end-user feedback.
• Partner with data engineering and platform teams to connect to reliable data sources.
• Apply data integration, ETL, and data modeling to connect, transform, and validate data.
• Perform data validation and root-cause analysis to ensure reliability and quality.
• Support ongoing enhancement and maintenance of enterprise applications and data assets.
