Job summary

CACI International Inc is hiring a Palantir Foundry Application Developer to build and support production applications used by operational users.

The role focuses on Palantir Workshop development, spanning Ontology, Actions, data pipelines, security, and production release processes. The person must be able to build Workshop applications and work across the Ontology, Actions, data pipelines, security, and production release process.

Qualifications

  • Hands‑on working experience with Palantir Foundry.
  • Experience building and shipping at least one production Workshop application used by real users.
  • Strong Workshop experience, including multi-page applications, variables, events, object views, filters, and Actions.
  • Experience modeling or extending a Foundry Ontology.
  • Experience configuring object types, link types, Action types, and permissions.
  • Experience implementing Actions and write‑back workflows.
  • Experience with Pipeline Builder or Code Repositories.
  • Strong Python and PySpark skills.
  • Understanding of incremental pipelines, scheduling, data quality, health checks, and lineage.
  • Experience implementing security and governance controls in Foundry.
  • Experience using branches and safely promoting changes into production.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain, multi-page Workshop applications.
  • Configure variables, events, object views, filters, navigation, and embedded modules.
  • Model and extend the Foundry Ontology, including object types, properties, link types, and Action types.
  • Build Actions that support data creation, updates, approvals, and other write-back workflows.
  • Configure Action parameters, rules, submission criteria, validation, and user permissions.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Pipeline Builder or Code Repositories.
  • Write and debug Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and SQL.
  • Implement incremental processing, scheduling, data quality checks, health checks, and lineage.
  • Apply Foundry security and governance controls, including markings, restricted views, and mandatory control properties.
  • Use branching, proposals, reviews, testing, and promotion processes to move changes safely from development into production.
  • Troubleshoot production issues across Workshop, the Ontology, Actions, and supporting pipelines.
  • Work directly with users and stakeholders to turn operational requirements into working applications.
