Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Specialist ProServe Cloud Architect within the Healthcare and Life Sciences practice.

This role spans R&D and Clinical Development, designing data and context layer architectures to enable AI-native workflows, knowledge graphs, and Agentic AI across drug discovery, translational science, and regulatory submissions. You’ll advise senior leaders, drive architecture-led transformation programs, and partner with ProServe teams and external partners to scale

Qualifications

7+ years solving problems with technology in Healthcare/Life Sciences
7+ years working with Data & AI technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, DBs)
Bachelor's degree in computer science, maths, stats, ML or equivalent
7+ years in Life Sciences R&D/Clinical Development with knowledge graphs, ontologies, data lakes
7+ years in professional services business development or technical pre-sales for R&D/clinical data platforms

Responsibilities

Design solution architectures across R&D and Clinical Development to enable AI-native workflows
Develop GTM strategies and accelerators for data and context layer space
Counsel executives on AI-driven transformation in R&D and clinical contexts
Collaborate with teams to innovate AWS solutions, accelerators, and demos
Design scalable data foundations, ontology orchestration, and Agentic AI architectures on AWS
Lead large opportunities from ideation to sales closure, de-risk delivery
Advise on industry trends in R&D data architecture and AI
Lead senior engagements across AI-native drug discovery and data modernization initiatives
