Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Specialist ProServe Cloud Architect for the Healthcare and Life Sciences practice in New York.

You will serve as a deep domain expert and hands-on architect, guiding AI-enabled transformations across R&D and Clinical Development, focusing on data foundations, ontology orchestration, and Agentic AI on AWS. You will shape GTM strategies, lead senior engagements, and collaborate with teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions that accelerate discovery

Qualifications

7+ years in Healthcare/Life Sciences tech solving problems.
7+ years with Data & AI technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, analytics).
BS in CS, math, stats, or equivalent quantitative field; or higher.
7+ years in Life Sciences R&D/Clinical Development contexts with data foundations.
7+ years in professional services business development or pre-sales.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver architectures across R&D and Clinical Development on AWS.
Develop GTM offerings and accelerators for data/context layers in life sciences.
Counsel senior HCLS executives on AI-driven transformations from discovery to trials.
Collaborate cross-team to innovate AWS solutions and demos for data readiness.
Lead complex opportunities from ideation to sales closure, de-risking delivery.
Advise customers on regulatory and data standards (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, GDPR).
Engage with Life Sciences accounts to drive AI-native drug discovery and platform modernization.
