Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years accounts receivable experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills with Excel and Word; Sage and/or Acumatica a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and sends customer invoices and monthly statements.
• Maintains and reconciles cash receipts journals.
• Maintains and updates customer files including payment history and profile information; Research and resolve billing issues.
• Responsible for collection of all overdue customer accounts; follows internal billing procedures for all tasks assigned.
• Research and provide invoice and receipt information to departments as needed.
• Provides necessary information for various annual audits.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Specialist to join our team. The Accounting Specialist is responsible for r eviewing invoices, reconciling statements, credit card management, processing waivers from vendors, processing payments, and collections. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes initiative, able to manage multiple tasks at once, is a quick learner, can work in a fast-paced environment, and pays excellent attention to detail. • Prepares and sends customer invoices and monthly statements; prepares billing invoices for services rendered or for delivery or shipment of goods.
• Maintains and reconciles cash receipts journals
• Maintains and updates customer files including payment history and profile information; Research and resolve billing issues.
• Responsible for collection of all overdue customer accounts; follows internal billing procedures for all tasks assigned.
• Research and provide invoice and receipt information to departments as needed
• Provides necessary information for various annual audits
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements and Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years accounts receivable experience preferred
• Strong computer skills with high level of experience in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Sage and/or Acumatica a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Preferred-associate’s degree and/or accounting coursework
