• Review invoices for accuracy and obtain approvals.
• Prepare and file state use tax.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Maintain vendor and customer account information.
• Prepare journal entries and support reconciliations.
• Assist with payroll processing and related reporting as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting the overall accounting operations of the company. Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures.

Qualifications

Required

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.


• Construction industry accounting experience.


• Knowledge of payroll processing and sales tax reporting.
