Job summary

Workwear Outfitters in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a diligent sewing teammate to join our manufacturing team. You will measure, mark and sew garments according to specification while maintaining accuracy and pride in workmanship.

The role requires good reading and speaking English, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM on the 1st shift with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Sewing or garment construction experience is preferred.
• Good attention to detail and precision in measuring and marking garments.
• Ability to read, understand and follow option codes on worksheets.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mark and sew garments according to specification.
• Check logo placements, striping and pockets for each garment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and prideful work environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• SEWING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.
• Must observe to the attendance policy.
• Good attention to detail.
• Write, read, and speak English.
• Must be able to read and understand option codes on Ready Service Worksheets.
• Able to sit for 8 hours and work OT when necessary.
• Able to work as part of a team and possess good communication skills.
• Basic math skills, will be measuring and marking garments.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Measure, mark and sew garments according to specification.
• Check logo placements, striping, pockets and any other additional option on garments.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment that shows pride in Workwear and is worthy of sharing with visitors at all times.

HOURS:

1st shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday thru Friday. Some daily overtime and work on Saturdays may be required, when necessary.
