Job summary

Workwear Outfitters is seeking a Sewing/Garment Operator for 1st shift. You will measure, mark and sew garments to specification, check logo placements and pockets, and ensure quality. Ability to read option codes and perform basic math is required; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Sewing experience preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

• SEWING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.
• Must observe to the attendance policy.
• Good attention to detail.
• Write, read, and speak English.
• Must be able to read and understand option codes on Ready Service Worksheets.
• Able to sit for 8 hours and work OT when necessary.
• Able to work as part of a team and possess good communication skills.
• Basic math skills, will be measuring and marking garments.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Measure, mark and sew garments according to specification.
• Check logo placements, striping, pockets and any other additional option on garments.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment that shows pride in Workwear and is worthy of sharing with visitors at all times.

HOURS:

• 1st shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday thru Friday. Some daily overtime and work on Saturdays may be required, when necessary.
