Job summary

A leading work apparel supplier is seeking dedicated workers for machine operation roles. Responsibilities include checking in garments, loading designs, and ensuring high-quality production. Ideal candidates will have a strong attention to detail, good attendance, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. REQUIREMENTS:

• Sewing / embroidery experience is helpful but not required.
• Basic communication skills to include reading, speaking, and understanding English and basic math skills.
• The physical ability to stand and walk up to 100% of the work shift.
• The physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Specific vision abilities required of the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• This position requires a high attention to detail and quality.
• This position requires demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work with others in a positive manner.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Must follow directions well.
• Ability to work overtime - including work on weekends, when needed.
• Good attendance is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Check in garments when they arrive.
• Load design onto the machine via computer
• Hoop garment or item while the machine is running, prepping for the next run
• Operate machines while trimming the backing
• Learn how to adjust tensions for better sewing quality
• Fix errors if needed on items
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are necessary for this job.
• Maintains a safe, efficient, and clean work environment that shows pride in Workwear, and is worthy of sharing with visitors at all times.

HOURS: 1st shift hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. OT may be required daily and on Saturday
