Job summary

Workwear Outfitters, LLC seeks a sewing/embroidery operator to join the production team on the 2nd shift. You will check in garments, load designs, hoop and run machines, adjust tensions, and fix errors while maintaining quality and pace.

Candidates should be comfortable with standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and reading English instructions. Overtime and weekend work may be required; a safe, clean workspace and team collaboration are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Sewing/embroidery experience is helpful but not required.
• Basic communication skills in English; reading, speaking and understanding.
• Basic math skills.
• Physical ability to stand and walk up to 100% of the shift.
• Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.
• Attention to detail and quality; ability to work with others.
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends; good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Check in garments when they arrive.
• Load design onto the machine via computer.
• Hoop garment or item while machine is running prepping for the next run.
• Operate machines while trimming the backing.
• Learn how to adjust tensions for better sewing quality.
• Fix errors if needed on items.
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and clean work environment.

Hours

2nd shift hours: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday. OT may be required daily and on Saturday.
