Special Projects Technicians may be utilized to respond to multiple types of work orders. Special Projects Technicians may more frequently perform repair of building structures and associated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sanitary systems and equipment. Perform maintenance functions in the community, including rental units, office buildings, residential areas, grounds and parking lots. Perform general maintenance and repair of building structures and associated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sanitary systems and equipment. Ensure that all service is performed safely and results in favorable customer feedback which is documented by favorable customer service survey results.
As an on-call Special Projects Technician, your work week will be Sunday through Wednesday and you will report to work at 1:00pm. The position requires that technician to be adaptable, and you will need to use your professional judgement to prioritize the incoming work orders. You will work independently and operate with a problem-solving mindset, ensuring any Life/Healthy/Safety issues are resolved in a timely manner. You will be required to respond to any after-hours calls on your scheduled nights. You will also provide detailed notes and photos of your efforts to ensure prompt follow up by the service department.
