Job summary

Sinclair Broadcast Group is seeking a Special Projects Specialist within the Agile Content Creation Engagement Team (ACCET) to help execute contests, community events, and station promotions. You will coordinate plans, ensure brand alignment, and support on-site activities across ACCET and Sinclair properties.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with community partners and stations to review events.
  • Develop plans to execute events and initiatives in the region.
  • Collaborate and assist with internal and external communications (Press releases, Sales Sizzle reels, and employee communication).
  • Work with legal to develop rules for local station and Sinclair contest promotions.
  • Enter project request into Adobe Workfront for community events promos, PSAs, contest, etc. to be developed.
  • Provide elements for content creation.
  • Assist in the planning, standardization of high school sports production in the region, and across ACCET. Including but not limited to; scheduling pre-taped segments, coordinating with schools leading up to games, scheduling client interviews, ordering trophies and plaques, creating weekly run-downs/ scripts, and being on site for game day production.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud — especially Premiere Pro. After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator a plus.

Job description

The Agile Content Creation Engagement Team (ACCET) Special Projects Specialistwill help with the execution of contests, community/ station events. This person will coordinate and execute special projects such as community awareness, disaster relief, contests, and other duties as assigned.


This position will assist with calendarizing events, contests, or special projects. In addition, this role will ensure events, contests, or special projects coincide with ACCET brand and community guidelines.


The Special Projects Coordinator will assist with the creation of such items as: promotional content, sponsored content, sponsored elements, promotional news/ social copy, writing press releases, developing on-site elements, coordinating emcee schedules, organizingonsite activities, ordering branded items, and ordering local ACCET station and Sinclair properties branded marketing materials (SWAG).
