Job Summary

The HVAC Project Manager (Special Projects) oversees all aspects of HVAC special projects, including lead generation, customer communication, design, estimating, proposal preparation, sales follow-up, and project management from initiation to completion.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Receive and create project leads from customers and technicians.
2. Define project scope through clear communication.
3. Design projects utilizing internal design capabilities.
4. Perform accurate takeoffs and source estimates for equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
5. Prepare cost estimates with appropriate margins.
6. Create and deliver proposals to customers.
7. Follow up to secure business.
8. Manage secured projects, including scheduling, permits, ordering, scope detailing, and managing change orders.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Punctuality, reliability, positive attitude.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and active listening skills.
• Professional attitude and customer service skills.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
