Job summary

Walleye Capital seeks Special Projects Developer Interns for Summer 2027 in New York City. You’ll collaborate with senior leadership to translate business needs into tech-enabled solutions, including AI-native tools, internal agents, and enhanced reporting.

Expect a 10-week program from June to August 2027 with hands-on development, exposure to high-priority initiatives, and direct mentorship from leaders in a fast-paced hedge-fund environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergrad or non-MBA master's in CS/Engineering with expected graduation Dec 2027 to Jun 2028.
• Strong Python proficiency and exposure to AI tooling and API development.
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level strategic objectives into structured project plans and workflows.
• Contribute to greenfield projects through the development lifecycle.
• Build and enhance internal AI-native tools and user-facing applications.
• Serve as an internal technology consultant to cross-functional teams.
• Support executive-facing tech solutions and reporting initiatives.
