Job summary

Walleye Capital is seeking Quantitative Developer Interns for its Quantic team in Boston. This 10-week summer internship offers hands-on experience with data pipelines, trading strategies, and automated systems in a rigorous, collaborative environment.

You will work with traders and researchers, applying ML and analytics to alpha generation and portfolio construction, while developing practical engineering skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in CS/engineering/statistics/math.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with programming in Python/Bash/Perl.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux environments and ML libraries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy quantitative infrastructure for alpha generation and algorithmic trading.
• Design and manage data pipelines; improve data integrity and traceability.
• Collaborate with traders/researchers to develop and iterate trading strategies.
• Build reporting tools for strategy risk, trade costs, and execution data.
• Leverage coding and AI tools to oversee automated trading systems.
