Job summary

CMS of Madison, Inc. is seeking a Floor and Carpet Care professional for Monday–Friday nights (4:00pm–12:30am) in Madison. Paid training provided; no prior experience required. Responsibilities include floor cleaning, carpet extraction, and general maintenance to keep buildings in clean and orderly condition.

• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and fixtures.
• Mix water and detergents or acids to prepare cleaning solutions.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Extract carpets using carpet extractors and floor machines.

MONDAY - FRIDAY NIGHTS

4:00pm - 12:30am

$18-$25.00 / hour

*Valid drivers license required

Job Purpose

Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as stripping/scrubbing/waxing floors, carpet extraction, construction clean ups, window cleaning.

Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Extract carpets
• Use equipment such as carpet extractors, swing arms and walk-behind floor scrubbers

Experience and Education: Experience is not required. We will provide training.
