Job summary

CMS of Madison, Inc. is hiring a Floor and Carpet Care Crew Leader for the night shift in Madison, WI. You will clean floors, extract carpets, and operate floor-scrubbing equipment across commercial facilities. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

Hours are 4:00pm–12:30am, Monday through Friday, with compensation of $20–$30 per hour based on experience. A valid driver’s license is required. Call Jen at [phone] to schedule an interview.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.

• Mix water and detergents or acids to prepare cleaning solutions per specifications.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Extract carpets and operate carpet extractors and floor scrubbing equipment.

4:00pm - 12:30am

$20-$30.00 / hour - based upon experience

*Valid drivers license required

Job Purpose:

Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as stripping/scrubbing/waxing floors, carpet extraction, construction clean ups, window cleaning.

Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities:

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Extract carpets
• Use equipment such as carpet extractors, swing arms and walk-behind floor scrubbers

Experience and Education: Experience is not required. We will provide training.
