Job summary

Paws Up Montana in Greenough, MT seeks a Special Projects and Retail Assistant to support daily retail operations and assist the GM-Wilderness Outpost in achieving long-term departmental goals.

Responsibilities include guest service excellence, inventory management, invoice processing in SpendMap/Shopify, and collaboration with department directors on events and projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in product-based retail operations.
• 1+ years experience in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of world class hospitality and guest service management.
• Strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Teams).
• Experience with Shopify preferred.
• Valid State Driver’s License.

Position:

Create friendly and luxurious environment for guests to enjoy while on property. Support the GM- Wilderness Outpost in daily retail operations and keep a pulse on the long-term goals of the department. This position will help ensure retail team members provide exceptional service to fellow team members and guests.

• Work with Director of Special Projects to purchase furniture and other items as requested.
• Manage and maintain database regarding arrival, ETA and budgeting during special projects.
• Perform special projects as assigned by Director of Special Projects.
• Work closely, when assigned, with the Department Directors on special projects, event coordination and other projects.
• Communicate with department regarding their ASANA requests, keeping people updated with ETAs.
• Track invoices and input into the different systems; Spendmap and Shopify.
• Be knowledgeable of the inventory in the store and make recommendations to the Retail Buyer of what is needed.
• Work with the Retail Buyer to get vendors paid in a timely fashion and keep up with communication during purchases.
• Work with the General Manager of the Wilderness Outpost on assignments and projects as required.
• When inventory arrives in the Outpost, get it ready to put on the floor in a timely manner
• Having a sense of urgency for all duties as required
• Ability to work flexible hours and holidays.

Looking for Team Members with:
