Job summary

Cantos Ventures in Torrance, California is seeking a proactive individual with 3-10 years of experience to own high-priority initiatives.

The successful candidate will need exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, and must have the ability to adapt and rapidly iterate in a high-performance environment. A desire to impact at scale and an active TS/SCI clearance are essential.

Salary range is between $125,000 and $225,000 with competitive equity grants included.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of progressive experience in high performance environments such as investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or high‑growth startups.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one.

What you will be doing

• You will own high‑priority initiatives that do not yet have a clear long‑term owner - some of these initiatives may be exciting and glamorous, others will be decidedly less so - but all of them will be high impact
• Step into ambiguous situations, create structure quickly, and drive momentum
• Help leaders across the company translate priorities and decisions into execution
• Proactively identify problems and bottlenecks, and resolve them expeditiously with limited support or oversight

You should have the following

• 3-10 years of progressive experience in high performance environments such as investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or high‑growth startups
• Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to rapidly iterate, adapt, and ingest new information
• A strong sense of mission and a desire to have impact at scale
• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one

Nice to have

• Technical background and skills and/or firsthand experience with drones
• Experience working with or at high growth, venture‑backed startups
• Experience with defense or hardware companies
• Experience with financial modeling
• Robust understanding of statistical analysis techniques

US Salary Range

$125,000 - $225,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.
